INDIVIDUAL OPTIONS WAIVER SUPPORTED LIVING

Our Program ::

Although residential care at NECCO Center represents a contained and highly controlled setting, it is not permanent. Eventually the residents will be returned to their communities to resume their lives among the general population.  To address this reality, NECCO Center provides Supported Living services with subsidies through the state of Ohio.  Supported Living provides education and training to assist individuals with MR/DD in living as independently as possible.

As provided for through state funding, services may be provided in the individual’s home if he or she lives on their own, or in the family home of an individual who needs Supported Living services. In addition, it may be arranged for up to three individuals to share Supported Living services.

Currently, NECCO Center operates three supported living homes in the Lawrence County Ohio area.  These homes are staffed around the clock and supported by practical as well as therapeutic assistance.  Services and supportive arrangements are identified on an Individual Service Plan (ISP).
